The Splash Splitter – Vacuum-Powered Jig for Precision Cutting Any Backsplash

SKU: SPSPLASH

$2,190.00

The Splash Splitter is the ultimate jig for securely holding and cutting any backsplash.

The Splash Splitter attaches to your saw bed to securely hold your back splash in place while you cut it thinner. You can clamp The Splash Splitter on the saw’s table after lining up the cut. Then hook up and turn on your compressor to create the vacuum. Now place the splash against it and the vacuum will securely hold the splash in place while you step cut it thinner. The Splash Splitter will hold a 10” piece, a 10’ piece, or even longer! You can cut a splash down to a half an inch, 3/8ths or thinner, depending on the material while delivering consistent and professional results every time.

Key Features include:

  • Vacuum-Powered Stability: Equipped with 10 evenly dispersed suction cups, The Splash Splitter creates a strong vacuum to securely hold your material in place.
  • Versatile Cutting: Cut backsplashes down to ½ inch, 3/8 inch, or even thinner, depending on the material.
  • Adjustable Design: Flip your piece over if the arbor plate is in the way, ensuring seamless cutting without interruptions.
  • Easy Setup: Simply clamp The Splash Splitter to your saw table, connect it to a 5 CFM or greater compressor, and activate the valves sequentially for optimal vacuum strength.
  • Compatible with a Variety of Compressors: You will need a 5 CFM or greater compressor to run this unit.

Instructions : To get started, secure your splash splitter to your bridge saw table by using some type of clamp, preferably an adjustable C clamp of some sort. Make sure the orientation of the Splash Splitter is as parallel to the blade as possible for accuracy. Once the clamp has been positioned and clamped to the table, you can now connect your air supply to the male connector on the venturi vacuum. When splitting back splashes you will only utilize the valves directly corresponding to the length of the back splash being split. Turn off all valves that will not be used to hold stone on that particular cut. If the back splash being cut overlaps on to half of another chamber pad, you will not activate that valve due to vacuum loss. For long backsplashes all valves can be activated.

IMPORTANT: When you activate the valves, do it sequentially, one at a time and in order. Failure to do these one after another may result in a failure to secure the stone. Step cutting is the preferred method for best results.
